While an album this distorted and Dooming isn't for everyone, it is certainly for me. Hell continuously builds and builds using only it's raw destructive will power, offering no reprieve from the desolation and damnation of Hell as it slowly rolls over all before it, crushing and inconceivably heavy.

LOWER YOUR HEAD. Sentient Ruin is Proud to bring you the cassette tape version of the new album from Salem, Oregon-based apocalyptically heavy and wretchedly visionary extreme sludge-doom behemoths HELL. Written and recorded in total isolation over a span of three years by sole mastermind M.S.W, this new self-titled opus is the reaffirmation and consecration of one of modern doom's most harrowing, demoralizing, and imaginative prospects, and the final seal on their status of absolute legends in american underground extreme metal. Spanning seven inhumanly crushing songs, for over forty-five minutes of colossal and earth-shaking audial torture - HELL's new album is already a classic, and a tyrannically iconic masterpiece that shall forever be remembered as one of the most awe-inducing turning points in extreme doom, having raised the bar of what "heavy" is to implausible heights, and redefined the concept of musical oppression through a new realm of extremism.
One of the best death metal albums I've ever heard. This LP combines elements of old school death metal with prog and experimental metal to create a truly unique sound. There is a noticable level of technicality in the composition, however not to a degree that detracts from the melody of the sound. The attack is consistent in it's brutality, but isn't in a mind numbing, grindy sprint and has no qualms with lowering the pace while maintaining aggression. This is album needs to be on your radar. camelhouse7
